Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 1, 1912

PELL - At the residence of her son, W.T. Pell, Berkley Avenue and Appomattox 
Streets, Berkley Ward, Norfolk, Va., Friday morning, May 31, at 10:30 o'clock, 
Mrs. CHLOTILDA C. PELL, aged 83 years.
The funeral service will be conducted from the above residence this (SATURDAY) 
afternoon, June 1, at 4:30 o'clock.
Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.  Friends and acquaintances invited.

The funeral of Mrs. Chlotilda C. Pell, who died at the home of her son, W.T. 
Pell, Berkley Avenue and Appomattox Street, yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock, 
after a lingering illness, will be conducted from the above residence this 
afternoon at 4:30 o'clock.  Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of the Berkley Avenue 
Baptist Church, will officiate and interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
She was a native of Currituck, N.C., and was 83 years of age.  She had lived in 
this section for the past 20 years, during which time she made many warm 
friends.
She is survived by three children, Mrs. Sarah Wickens, of the South Norfolk, 
Mrs. W.L. Ballance, of Northwest, Va. and W.T. Pell, of Berkley.
