Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 3, 1930 

Irvin Bonner Pelot, aged 54, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. F.H. 
Beard, 2935 Dey Street, yesterday at 6:10 p.m., after an illness of four months.  
He was a native of Columbia, S.C, but had been a resident of Norfolk for 30 
years. He was the son of the late Eugene E. and Mrs. Ella Nixon Pelot and is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Anna Pelot; seven daughters, Mrs. James V. 
McVey, Lancaster, Pa; Mrs. J.W. Beard, Dover Plains, N.Y.; Mrs. F.H. Beard, 
Norfolk; Mrs. D.C. Baldwin, Richmond; Mrs. V.E. Green, Virginian Beach and the 
Misses Mamie E. and Margaret V. Pelot, Richmond; one son, William E. Pelot, 
Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvester Z. Moore, Lancaster, Pa. and Mrs. B.W. 
Bazemore, Norfolk and two brothers, E.E. Pelot, New Orleans and F.D. Pelot, 
Washington, D.C.
The body was removed to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 631 Westover 
Avenue, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 
o'clock.

Dey Street, Wednesday evening, April 2, 1930, at 6:10 o'clock, IRVIN BONNER 
PELOT, husband of Mrs. Lucy Anna Pelot and son of the late Eugene E. and Mrs. 
Ella Nixon Pelot, aged 54 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 
631 Westover Avenue, THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON at 2 o'clock.  Friends of the 
family are invited to attend.  Interment, Cedar Grove Cemetery.
