Virginian-Pilot November 9, 1951
PENDERGAST, JAMES JOSEPH – At a local hospital, Wednesday, November 7, 1951, at 
10:30 a.m., JAMES JOSEPH PENDERGAST, husband of Mrs. Imogene W. Pendergast, and 
son of the late James Joseph, and Mrs. Mary Nolan Pendergast, in the 77th year of 
his age. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for prayer services TODAY 
(Friday) at 12 o’clock NOON. Friends of the family are invited to attend. 
Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
