Virginian Pilot December 27, 1983  

Annie (Pearl) Pennello, 67, of 1701 Ashland Ave., a native of Montgomery, Ala. 
and the wife of Julian J. Pennello, died Monday in a hospital.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Other survivors include a son, Michael J. Pennello and a sister, Emma Stewart, 
both of Norfolk; and two brothers, Eugene Stewart of Charlotte, N.C. and Henry 
Stewart of Norfolk.
The funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King Catholic 
Church by the Rev. Patrick Cassidy. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery, with H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, in charge. A Christian 
wake will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

PENNELLO, MRS. ANNIE PEARL - In a Norfolk hospital, Saturday, MRS. ANNIE PEARL 
PENNELLO, wife of Julian J. Pennello and daughter of the late Lewis Alexander 
and Mrs. Ellen Lue Adams Stewart, in the 68th year of her age. A funeral Mass 
will be said in Christ the King Catholic Church, Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial, St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, has charge.
