Virginian-Pilot October 1, 1972
NORFOLK - Rocco Thomas Pennello, 60, of 1701 Ashland Ave, died Saturday in a 
hospital.
He was a son of Julian and Mrs. Caroline Russo Pennello.
A native of Italy and a resident of Norfolk 79 years, he was a member of Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church and was associated with Pennello Brothers Plumbing & 
Heating 60 years.
He is survived by a brother, Julian J. Pennello, and a sister, Mrs. Rosa 
Pennello Danza, both of Norfolk.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday at 10 
a.m. The Office of the Dead will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
tonight at 7. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
