The Virginian Pilot Sunday November 4,1984
Norfolk - Arie Peoples of 3005 Corprew Ave., a native of Wilmington, NC, and 
the wife of John Peoples, died Friday in a hospital.

She was a member and a church mother of New Hope Church of God in Christ.

Other survivors include a daughter, Ruth DeLaine; a son, Lorenzo Brown; and 
two sisters, Hattie Kindred and Mary Martin, all of Norfolk; and a 
grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in New Hope Church of God in 
Christ by Dr. Herman Clark. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with 
Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge. A wake will be held from 7 to 8 p.. 
Monday. The family will be at her home.
