The Virginian-Pilot December 20, 1994  
Parris M. Perkins, formerly of the 1700 block of Brown Ave., died Dec. 14, 
1994. He was the former manager of Brown Avenue Convenience Store. 
Survivors include five sons, Staff Sgt. Eric Davis, Dion, Kevin, Parris and 
Clarence, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Beulah P. Bland of Norfolk and Annie V. 
Simmons of East St. Louis, Ill.; two brothers, George E. Perkins Jr. of Oxon 
Hill, Md. and Dorsey Perkins of Norfolk; and two grandsons, Sivad and Jerrod 
Davis of Norfolk. 
A funeral will be conducted at Graves Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Dec. 
28, 1994, at 1 p.m. by Dr. Thomas M. Venable. Friends may join the family at 
the funeral home for visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.
