Virginian Pilot July 4, 1905 

The many friends of Mrs. L.M. Perkins will be pained to learn of her death, 
which occurred at her home, No. 507 Twelfth street, at 5 o'clock yesterday 
morning after an illness of two weeks.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Bright of this place.  She 
leaves besides her husband, father and mother, a daughter one week old.
The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at her late 
residence.  The services will be conducted by Rev. P.S.C. Davis, of South 
Norfolk Baptist Church.  Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. L.M. Perkin's funeral which was to have taken place at her late 
residence yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, was postponed until this 
afternoon at 4 o'clock.  The services will be conducted by the Rev. P.S.C. 
Davis and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
