Carlton Lee Perkins, 68, died Jan. 13, 1993, in Sentara Nursing Home, after a 
long illness. 

Mr. Perkins was born in Norfolk. He was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist 
Church, Chesapeake; a member of the Male Chorus, Usher Board, Trustee Board and 
Angelic Choir. 

Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia C. Edmonds of Tucson, Ariz.; a son, Carlton 
Lee Perkins Jr., of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Amelia Bracey, Quetta Edmonds 
and Aurelia Watts, all of Norfolk; three brothers, Claude Perkins Sr., Howard 
Perkins Sr. and Allen Perkins Sr., all of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Iris 
Monique, Jessica Sade and Carlton Lee Perkins III; one great-grandchild; and a 
host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Hiram G. White presiding. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery . 
Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
