Albert W. Perkins, 74, of 834 Park avenue died Saturday March 5, at 11:30 a.m.
in a Petersburg hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Norfolk, and a
retired employee of the Virginian Railroad. He was formerly employed at the
Princess Anne Country Club.

Mr. Perkins was a member of Eureka Lodge, the Hiawatha Social and Beneficial
Club and the Assembly Social Club. He was also a member of Grace Episcopal
Church where he was active in the Men’s Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Imogene W. Perkins, and other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted Tuesday at Grace Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Richard
B. Martin, rector, officiated and delivered the eulogy.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with B. F. King Funeral Home in charge of funeral
arrangements.
