Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Ann Perkins were held Sunday from the 
Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter officiating, assisted by 
other ministers of the city.

Mrs. Perkins was one of the oldest members of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and 
until her recent illness was very active in church circles.

During the services condolences were read by Clifton Wood, and musical 
selections were rendered by Mrs. Annie Felton and the Southern Echo Quartet of 
which Mrs. Perkins daughter is a member.

Besides her daughter, Mrs. Alberta Green, she is also survived by a son and a 
grandson. Interment was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
