Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 9, 1993

Ella Ruth Perry of the 700 block of E. 29th St., died Jan. 7, 1993, in a 
local hospital.
Mrs. Perry was born in Edenton, N.C., and was a member of Wynn Grove Baptist 
Church in Colerain, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, John Henry Perry; four sons, John Steven, 
Andrew, Johnathan and Dwyane Perry, all of Norfolk; her father, Ulysses 
Riddick of Elizabeth City; four sisters, Arneice Speller and Cornelia 
Bazemore, both of Norfolk, Daisy Speller of Portsmouth and Mary Perry of 
Colerain; two brothers, Ulysses Riddick of Virginia Beach and Johnny Riddick 
of Richmond; and a sister-in-law, Vickie Riddick of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Friends and family will assemble at the 
residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
