Perry of the 700 block of Madison St., a retired cook, died April 26, 1991, in a hospital. Mrs. Perry, a Norfolk native, had retired from Peoples Drug Stores. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and Cassandra United Order of Tents 139 and was a past president of Effingham Plaza Civic League. She was the widow of Leroy W. Perry. Survivors include five daughters, Delores Cypress of Chesapeake, Gwondolyn Cypress, Linda Tynes and Rita Perry, all of Norfolk, and Cynthia Daughtry of Colts Neck, N.J.; three sisters, Viola W. Eccles, Martha Oliver and Mary Scott, all of Norfolk; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. Ben Beamer and the Rev. Jake Manley. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the family from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Hale Funeral Home and other times at 2636 King Court, Chesapeake.
