Virginian Pilot, Wednesday,  Nov 25,1959
Norfolk - Samuel Perry, 59, of 2419 Tidewater Dr., died Tuesday at 12:30 a.m. in 
a Norfolk hospital after a short illness.

He was a son of Simmon and Mrs. Lucy Perry and a native of Norfolk.

He was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church where he served on the usher 
board.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Sweat of Norfolk and Mrs. Lena Eddie of New 
York City and two brothers, John Perry of Warrenton NC, and Colton Perry of 
Baltimore MD.

The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be conducted at New Calvary Baptist Church Friday at 2 
p.m. by Elder Samuel A. Wilson.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
