Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, May 31, 1992 
Doris Perry, of the 6900 block of Partridge St., a retired CSR technician, died
May 29, 1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Perry was born in Alachua, Fla. She retired from Children's Hospital of The
King's Daughters after 30 years and was a member of the nurse's unit and First
Baptist Church, Logan Park. She was the widow of Roland Perry.

Survivors include three daughters, Doris Harvey and Wilhelmenia Reed, both of
Norfolk, and Effie Lynch of Altadena, Calif.; three sisters, Alice Smith, Idella
Smith and Ruth Johnson, all of Norfolk; a brother, James Walton of Apple Valley,
Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in First Baptist Church, Logan
Park, by the Rev. Boyd O. Moody. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends
may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
