Virginian Pilot May 5, 1968

Mrs. Laiola V. Perry of 409 W. 14th St., died Saturday in a hospital.
A native of Surry County, she was a daughter of Louis and Mrs. Eliza Spratley and 
the wife of John C Perry.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, John E. Perry of Washington; four 
sisters, Mrs. Elsie Delk, Mrs. Geraldine Liverman and Mrs. Pauline Epps of Norfolk 
and Mrs. Polly  Pretlow of Newport News; and two grandchildren.
The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.

Laiola on tombstone, other sources spell name Laoila.
Corrected mother's name to Eliza vs Deliza
