Norfolk Virginian Pilot May 31, 1945

Edward Augustus Perry, 73, husband of Mrs. Ada Lee Perry, died yesterday at 
2:15 a.m. at the residence, 711 Cooke Avenue, following a short illness.
Mr. Perry was a native of Portsmouth, but has resided in Norfolk most of his 
life and was by occupation a house mover.
Surviving him besides his wife are a brother, V.B. Perry of Norfolk and Mrs. 
Grace C. Holt, of Baltimore.  He was an active member of Christ and St. 
Luke's Episcopal Church.
The body was removed to the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel.

Edward Augustus Perry - Funeral services for Mr. Perry who died Wednesday 
morning, will be conducted this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the James V. 
Derry Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Taylor Willis, D.D., rector of Christ and 
St. Luke's Church, of which he was a member.  Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
