He was 62 years old and had resided in this city for the past forty years. A native of North Carolina, he moved to Virginia when a young man, and has scores of friends here. Besides his widow, Irene Thomas Perry, he is survived by two brothers, E.A. Perry, of Florida and Dockton Perry, of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held from the residence, 814 Reservoir Avenue, this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock and will be conducted by the Rev. J. Arthur Winn, pastor of McKendree Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
