NORFOLK - Carter T. Perry of 1008 Widgeon Road, a retired postal employe,died Sunday
in his home.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late Barlett and Mrs. Leigh C. Perry and
husband of Mrs. Luvinia Perry. He was a graduate of Virginia Union University,
Richmond, and a member of First Calvary Baptist Church and Campbell Masonic Lodge
67. He was a postal worker 26 years.

Surviving besides his widow, are a son, Carter Perry Sr.; a stepson, Thomas Keeling
and a sister, Mrs. Adele Toler, all of New York; and a brother, Charles Perry of
Washington.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in First Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. C.E. Griffin. Burial will be in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery with
Hale Funeral Home in charge.
