Person Jr., 68, of the 100 block of W. 39th St., a retired truck driver, died Sept. 28, 1990, in a hospital. Mr. Person, a native of Raleigh, was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where he served on the male usher board. He was also a member of the International Longshoreman Association Local 1458. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Pearl Person; three stepdaughters, Eugina Minder, Linda Pearl and Regina Holloway, all of Norfolk; two stepsons, Tyrone Pearl of Norfolk and James Pearl of Lawrenceville, Va.; two sisters, Rebecca Lowe of Washington, and Betty Mae Person of New Jersey; a brother, William Person of Washington; and seven stepgrandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Visitation will begin Tuesday morning in Twilight Funeral Home. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home and will assemble at noon Wednesday at the residence for the procession to the church.
