Virginian Pilot November 30, 1909
Guss E. Peterson, 36 years old, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the 
home of his father, C.E. Peterson, Great Bridge Road, after an illness of more 
than a year's duration.  He was a native of Sweden, but had been a resident here 
thirteen years and assisted his father on the farm.  He is survived by a mother, 
father, and three sisters, one of the latter being a teacher in the South 
Norfolk school.  The funeral announcement will occur later.

The funeral of the late Gus E. Peterson will be conducted from the residence in 
the Great Bridge road in the county this morning at 10 o'clock.  The interment 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of Augustus E Peterson was conducted from the family residence in 
the county yesterday morning at 10 o'clock.  The interment was in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
