The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark March 22, 1933


John Peterson, aged 64, died at a local hospital Sunday at 6:42 o’clock after 
a long illness. He was a native of Norway and had been a resident of Norfolk 
for 49 years. Mr. Peterson held membership in Massasoit Tribe No. 77, Improved 
Order of the Red Men.
The body will be taken from the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West 
Princess Anne Road, to Elmwood Cemetery for funeral services at 3 o’clock.
