Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, October 27, 1992 
Robert Lee Petty, 91, of the 5900 block of Poplar Hall Drive, a retired parking
lot attendant and vegetable vendor, died Oct. 25, 1992, in a Hampton hospital.

Mr. Petty was born in Princess Anne County. He was a member of Morning Star
Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Robert Brown of Norfolk; three sisters, Josephine
Townsend and Pauline Daniels, both of Norfolk, and Beatrice Johnson of Hampton;
and a brother, James Turner of Norfolk.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will
be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the
funeral home.
