Beach Resident
MRS. MARY PFROMM DIES;
FORMER CHURCH SOPRANO

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Williams Pfromm, 77, wife of H. Howard Pfromm and daughter 
of Amlet Buchanan and Mrs. Lizzie Dey Williams, died Thursday at 7:45 a.m. in an 
Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Pfromm was a native of Currituck, N.C., having come to Norfolk at an early 
age.
She was leading soprano at Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church for a number of 
years.
After marriage she moved to Jenkintown, Pa., then returned to Virginia Beach to 
make her home in 1952.  She was a member of the Princess Anne Garden Club and of 
the DAR.
She is survived by her husband, H. Howard Pfromm.
The body will be taken from H,D, Oliver Funeral Apartments to Galilee Episcopal 
Church, Virginia Beach, for a funeral service Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. 
Edmund Berkeley, rector. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
