The Virginian Pilot Thursday October 7, 1982
Lillian McClain Phelps, 98, of 212 Colonial Ave., died Tuesday in her home.
She was a native of Princess Anne County and the widow of Pegram Phelps. She 
was a former member of Campostella Baptist Church and a member of United 
Methodist Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Lula White of Virginia Beach and Lillian 
Fleet of Winchester; a brother, E.L. McClain of Chesapeake; three 
grandchildren; five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Frank Hughes.
