Phelps and the late P.L. Phelps, died at the home of his mother, Berkley Avenue and Wilson Road yesterday afternoon at 1:50 o'clock. He was a native of this place. Besides his mother he is survived by a brother, William H. and two sisters, Lillian and Estelle Lula Phelps. The funeral will be conducted at the above residence this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock and burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. ********************************************************************** The funeral of Joseph Lee Phelps was conducted at the family residence, Berkley Avenue and Wilson's Road, yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock by Rev. R.W. Torbert, pastor of the Campostella Baptist Church. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery and the pallbearers were Eddie Bunting, Frank Lynch, Isaac Tatem, Lawrence Carter, John Bright and H. Benton.
