A native of Baltimore, Md., she had lived here most of her life. She was the widow of Franklin T. Pickard and a daughter of James T. and Mrs. Ethel Perry Pearson. She was a beauty operator for 38 years and a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Olivia L. Foutz of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Flanagan of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Virginia P. Cullifer of Norfolk; and two grandchildren. The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Road, to St. Matthew’s Catholic Church for a Requiem Mass today at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will be at 130 Ridgewood Road, Chesapeake.
