Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, May 21, 1992 
Ruby M. Pickett, a health care provider, died May 15, 1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Pickett was born in New London.

Survivors include her husband, William H. Pickett; a daughter, Jo-Anne Pickett
of Los Angeles; a son, Lester C. Miller of New London; a sister, Virtlie Jones
of New York City; four brothers, Cornelius Miller and Arthur Miller, both of New
London, and Linus Miller and Jonathan Miller, both of Missouri City, Texas; and
three grnadchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Calvary Cemetery ,
Norfolk, by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. A wake service will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
today at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, where family and friends will
assemble at 1:30 p.m. Friday for the procession.
