Clay Pickett, died Monday at 7:50 p.m., in a Portsmouth hospital. She was a daughter of the late Dr. E.M. Watts and Mrs. Laura Peters Watts and was a native of Portsmouth. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Pickett is survived by four sons, Charles Pickett of Fairfax Courthouse; Edward Watts Pickett, of Washington, D.C., H. Clay Pickett Jr., and William Peters Pickett of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. W.L. Zimmer of Petersburg and Mrs. Hugh Stockwell of Richmond; a brother, Leigh R. Watts of Portsmouth, and three grandchildren. The body was removed to the Brennan Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in St. John's Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
