He was a native of Spain, and had lived in Norfolk for the past 35 years, residing at 128 Talbot St. He was a retired merchant seaman, and was a member of the National Maritime Union. He was the son of the late Carmen Gonzales and the late Eleuterio Picos. He is survived by one brother, Vincent Picos, of Spain, and one cousin, Manuel Lopez, of New York. The body was removed to the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
