NORFOLK - Mary Aunnie Piedmont, 75, of the 5400 block of Powhatan Ave., died 
Dec. 29, 1988, in a hospital.
Mrs. Piedmont, a Portsmouth native, retired from the dental clinic at Norfolk 
Naval Station. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was 
active in the Catholic Ministry Program at Old Dominion University. She was a 
member and past president of the DePaul Hospital auxiliary board.
Survivors include a sister, Nancy P. Prominski of Arlington, and a brother, 
Joseph D. Piedmont of Roanoke.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic 
Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Julian B. Goodman. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be in H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, at 7:30 p.m. today.
