Pigram of 982 Marshall Ave., the wife of Washington Pigram, died Tuesday in a hospital after a long illness. A native of Sussex County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mrs. Mahaliah Walker. Also surviving are a son, Arthur Pigram and a stepson, Lessell Davis, both of Norfolk; four brothers, Major Walker of Norfolk, Philip Walker and Hamler Walker of Waverly and Mosley Walker of Portsmouth; and a sister, Mrs. India Lewis of Richmond. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Union Christian Congregational Church by Elder Elijah Arnold. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
