Virginian Pilot December 14, 1973

Mrs. Lucinda Dowdy Pike, 88, of 412 B St., the widow of Joseph Pike, died 
Thursday in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a native of Currituck County, N.C., and a member of South Norfolk 
Congregational Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Earl L. Pike of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Francis A. Gay Funeral 
Home, South Norfolk, by the Rev. Willis E. Joiner.  Burial will be in 
Riverside Memorial Park.
The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8.
