Pinner, one of the most prominently known citizens of the city, died suddenly Saturday shortly after 12 o’clock while at his work in the Norfolk Navy Yard. Mr. Pinner was 52 years of age and resided with his wife, Mrs. Alethia Pinner, 350 East Brambleton avenue, in one of the city’s most pretentious residences. Although he had been complaining of a lingering illness for some time, his death was quite unexpected and was the source of a shock to his host of friends and acquaintances. Mr. Pinner was a life-long resident of this city. His fraternal connections were numerous and his position in this respect exalted. Additional Comments: West Point Cemetery Pinner, William A.
