Norfolk Virginian May 26, 1891

The funeral of Leaneide, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.R. Pitt, took place 
from the family residence, No. 30 Clay Street, at five o'clock yesterday afternoon 
and was attended by a large number of friends and sorrowing relatives.  Rev. B.D. 
Tucker, of St. Paul's P.E. Church officiated, both at the house and at the grave 
in Elmwood Cemetery, and as the "dust to dust" was said the scene was a most 
solemn one, all eyes being filled with tears.  Truly another angel has been added 
to "the realm of the blest."
