PITT, MRS. MARY FRANCES – In a Norfolk hospital, Tuesday, MRS. MARY FRANCES PITT, 
widow of William Lee Pitt and daughter of Mrs. Mary Byrne O’Brien and the late 
William Joseph O’Brien, in the 63rd year of her age. The body will be taken from 
H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a requiem 
mass to be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery. The 
family will be at 1056 Brandon Avenue and, in lieu of flowers, make donations to 
the American Cancer Society.
