Miss Carrie Pittman -Funeral services for Miss Pittman, of 1608 Selden street,
who passed away at a local hospital May 1, after a short illness, were held May
4, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. P. L. Harvey, pastor, officiating
assisted by several other guest ministers.

During the services a solo was rendered by Mrs. Alma Cheatham. Miss Pittman is
survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pittman; four sisters, Katie,
Bertha, Ernestine, and Mrs. Elouise T. Lee; four brothers, Thomas, George,
Gussen and William Pittman.

Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Citizens Funeral Service in charge of
arrangements.
