Norfolk - Miss Minnie Pittman of 345 Tidewater Drive, a native of Edgecombe 
County, NC, died Tuesday in a hospital.

She was a member of St. Mary Holy Mount Christian Church and its Senior 
Choir and Missionary Board.

Survivors include a son, Army Spec. 4 Steve A. Pittman of Fort Polk, LA; two 
sisters, Mrs. Geneva P. Everett of Rocky Mount NC; and Mrs. Elizabeth 
Wiggins of Tarboro, NC; three brothers, Willie J. O. Pittman and Burt 
Pittman of Tarboro, and William Pittman of Philadellphia; and three 
grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in St. Mary Holy Mount Christian 
Church by Bishop Mary Johnson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale 
Funeral Home in charge.
