J. W. Matthews. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Fitchett Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Pittman died March 5 in her home after a long illness. A native of Scotland Neck, NC, she was a daughter of the late Turner Debraux and Mrs. Caroline Debraux and the widow of Ernest Pittman. She was a member of the Pastor’s Aid Club of Antioch. Surviving are a son, Thomas Pittman of Norfolk; three daughters, Mrs. Ella Lee and Mrs. Bertha King of Norfolk and Miss Eunice Pittman of Brooklyn; a brother, Buster Debraux of Chesapeake; 17 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
