Pitts, an attorney at law and son of the late Judge E.P. Pitts, of Norfolk, passed suddenly away at his home, 138 Bermuda Street, at 5 o'clock yesterday morning in the 59th year of his age. He had been a resident of this city from his early manhood and was well known in the community. He leaves a widow and six children--Mrs. F.K. Clements, of Petersburg; Dr. E.P. Pitts, of Atchison, Kan.; C.D. Pitts and Misses Mildred, Emory and Nellie Pitts, all of Norfolk. A remarkable coincidence is that his father, Judge Pitts, died suddenly in this city some years ago. The funeral will be held from his late residence Friday morning at 11 o'clock. ************************************************************************ The funeral of the late Edward D.
