Norfolk Virginian May 29, 1894

The funeral of Mrs. Annie E. Pitts took place yesterday morning at 10 o'clock 
from the residence of her sister, Mrs. Martha L. White, No. 115 Fenchurch 
street, and was very largely attended.  The services were conducted by Rev.Dr. 
A.C. Bledsoe, of the Cumberland Street M.E. Church and the interment was in 
Elmwood Cemetery.  The pallbearers were:  A.M. Forbes, J.W. Beasley, H. Lewis, 
G.W. Camp, W. White and J.T. Hudgins.
