Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 21, 1912

After a lingering illness, Mrs. Susan M. Place, widow of L.B. Place, died at the 
residence of her son-in-law, W. T. Wilbur, 310 Camp Avenue, at 11:45 o'clock last 
night. She was in the 67th year of her age.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Susan M. Wilbur, Mrs. Severn Webb, Mrs. 
J.T. Stallings, all of Norfolk and one son, W.L. Perkins of Hyattsville, Md.
The funeral will take place at the residence at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. 
Services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. George W. Swope of Central Baptist Church, 
assisted by Rev. W.T. Green of Memorial Church, Berkley. Interment will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery
