A native of Chicago, he lived here most of his life. He was the husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Graves Plack and a son of Arnold and Mrs. Emelie Norcom Plack. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the American, Virginia and Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar associations. He was a graduate of Maury High School and the University of Virginia Law School. He was a member of the Norfolk German Club, Norfolk Yacht and Country Club, a life member of the Norfolk Boat Club, and a former member of the Rotary Club and Pyramid Club. His widow is his only survivor. The Office of the Dead will be said tonight at 7:30 in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at noon in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
