Virginian Pilot July 1, 1998

Marbury Taylor Plant, 83, died June 29, 1998, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Plant was born in Norfolk and was the daughter of the late George deBree 
Taylor and Marie Marbury Taylor. She was the widow of Earl M. Plant and a member 
of Galilee Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Marbury Plant Morton and her husband, B. Andrew 
Morton III, of Knoxville, Tenn.; her granddaughter, Edith Gaines Morton of 
Atlanta, Ga.; and her grandson, Andrew G. Morton of Knoxville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Calvin G. Gardner. Memorial donations may be made to the 
Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451, or the 
Galilee Building Fund, 40th St. and Pacific Ave., Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. 
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
