He had been in declining health for the past two years. A native of Eastern, Md., Mr. Plummer resided at 925 Lafayette Ave. in South Norfolk. He was a charter member of the South Norfolk Pentecostal Holiness Church. A son of the late Robert L. and Martina Plummer, he was the husband of Louise White Plummer. Besides his wife, he is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. O. H. Collins of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Martina Thomas, Mrs. M.K. Alligood, Mrs. M. J. Boyce, Mrs. S. S. Lee, Mrs T. G. Sullivan and Mrs. W. W. Albertson, all of South Norfolk; a son, William B. Plummer of South Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. O. L. Skinner of Norfolk County; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the Francis Gay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the South Norfolk Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be in Roadside (sic) Memorial Park.
