Norfolk - Mrs. Bertha Poarch of 2910 Pioneer Avenue, a native of Gaston, NC, 
died Friday, Aug. 13 in a hospital.

She was a member of Cool Spring Baptist Church

Survivors include two sons, Roosevelt Poarch of Los Angeles, CA, and Ernest 
Poarch of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Washington of New York, 13 
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home and was buried Wednesday, Aug. 18, 
in Calvary Cemetery.
