NORFOLK - William Forrest Pointer of 759 Lincoln St., the husband of Mrs. Olivia 
Pointer, died Wednesday in a hospital after a long illness.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late William R. and Mrs. Mary Pointer.

He retired from Jones Warehouse Corp. after 15 years.

He was a member of Metropolitan AMEZ Church.

Besides his widow, surviving are five nephews, Robert White of Norfolk, Linwood 
Moseley, Robert I. Dailey, Edward Dailey, and Walter Dailey of Washington, and 
five great-nieces.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:15 p.m. in Metropolitan AMEZ Church 
by the Rev. Richard A. Councill. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick 
Funeral service in charge.
