Norfolk Ledger Dispatch October 19, 1918


Paxton Pollard, a well known citizen of Norfolk, died yesterday aged 70 years. 
The funeral takes place at 3 p.m. Sunday at Elmwood. Mr. Pollard was a man of 
exemplary life and had a great many friends in the community. Rev. C.N. 
McLauchlin, D.D., will officiate at the funeral.

The funeral of Paxton Pollard took place yesterday afternoon in Elmwood 
Cemetery. Rev. D.N. McLauchlin, D.D., conducted the services. The pallbearers 
were: W.N Ghiselin, James Johnston, S.W. Pannill, George B. Crow, A.P. Pannill 
and John L. Randolph. There were many floral offerings
