Norfolk - A funeral service was conducted for Norman Poole of 2824 Merrimac 
avenue Wednesday in First Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. C. E. Griffin.  
Burial was in the family plot of Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in 
charge.

Mr. Poole died April 16 in his home.  He was a native of Darlington, SC, the 
husband of Mrs. Rebecca V. Poole and a son of Marrell Poole and Mrs. Mary B. 
Poole,  He was retired from Norfolk Western Railway after 48 years and worked 
for Remington Rand Co.

Besides his widow, he is survived by a brother, Albert Poole of Philadelphia, 
and three grandchildren.
