The Virginian-Pilot, Friday, June 8, 1962

NORFOLK - Dennis Poole of 1059 Church St., died Wednesday in a Norfolk hospital 
after a short illness.

A native of Elizabeth City, N.C., he was a son of John and Mrs. Sarah Poole and 
the husband of Mrs. Eulalia Poole.

He lived in Norfolk 40 years and was employed by New Deal Cleaners four years.

Besides his widow, surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bernice Smith of Norfolk; 
and a brother Earnest Poole of New York City.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held 
Saturday at 1 p.m., with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
